JULIE HOGAN
Raynor Massage Therapist
Reflexologist
Over the years I have been interested in the benefits of holistic therapies, recognising the importance of mind and body selfcare. I have experienced many treatments and therapies, with varying degrees of success.
I am a Registered General Nurse, with over 30 years experience in the NHS. Most recently working in primary care. as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, treating minor ailments and injuries. I have in the past trained as a Counsellor, whilst working for Victim Support. I also trained in Reflexology, having found this a really effective therapy.
Having received Raynor Massage treatment more recently, I found this approach very effective in relieving stiffness and pain. I was carrying residual stress in areas that I was not aware of, which was identified and addressed during my treatments, resulting in greatly reduced pain. I also felt calmer and slept more soundly. This was the catalyst to make me want to undertake this training and be able to provide this form of treatment, as I believe so strongly in it’s benefits. Having taken the training course, I am even more enthusiastic, as it is a truly personalised treatment.
I have the knowledge and skills to support people with a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, insomnia, muscular aches and stiffness, also sports preparation and recovery.
As an experienced trained nurse, I have advanced clinical assessment experience and critical thinking skills, which are essential in forming a treatment plan tailored to your exact needs.
After looking at alternative therapies and their benefits I have come to believe that this is the way forward, for a better lifestyle allowing for treatment of causes not just symptoms.
Feel free to contact me if you have any further concerns or questions.
